How does Bestcare ensure cleaning staff are honest and trustworthy in Nairobi?
Trust is the foundation of the cleaning business. Bestcare implements multiple overlapping measures to ensure clients can confidently welcome our teams into their homes and offices.
Pre-Employment Vetting
- DCI Criminal Background Check – Every applicant submits to a Directorate of Criminal Investigations check before joining
- Certificate of Good Conduct – An official Kenya National Police document confirming no criminal history is required as a condition of employment
- Identity verification – National ID verified and photocopied; confirmed against application documents
- Reference checks – A minimum of 2 previous employer references contacted and verified
During Employment
- Team-based working – Bestcare does not send solo cleaners to unoccupied premises; minimum two-person teams at all times
- Uniforms and ID badges – All staff wear Bestcare uniform and carry photo ID; clients can verify identity at the door
- No-personal-mobile-phone policy – Staff do not use personal phones while in client premises
- Supervisor oversight – A team leader is present on every job; supervisors conduct random visits
- Liability insurance – Public liability insurance covers any accidental damage claims
Client Protocols
- Valuables are recommended to be stored securely before any cleaning visit — standard best practice with any service provider
- Any issue should be reported to management immediately at 0709004600
